the fourth revision:

As of 05.2008 it looks like I'm back in the job market, so it's time for the fourth revision of the site: mostly to get the past years contract work with fountainhead up and in some kind of coherent order.

At version 0.4 I've got:

Addition of years 2007 and 2008 to archive, with as much as I can pull in of recent work. That's the important part, really, no? I mean I doubt anyone's here to inspect my post-college 1994 work...?

Maybe 80% of ancient-history-type archive content in place (okay, it may have been ambitious to attempt to recover work from as far back as 1994 but I'm still convinced I'll find more....) - I'm really not getting into old backups as of now to see if I can improve some pages, where there was very little original material to speak of: that can come in hobby time ;-)

So I suppose a fourth revision - no matter how much I use the 0.x descriptor - is getting past a testing site, I suppose it's time to crack open a metabottle of metachampagne, and wish all who sail in this site a bon voyage. Happy trails.

technical information as of v0.4

I don't think the site needs any major explanations as to how to get about: just click on the archive and all should become clear.

Logically enough, this site is not disability compliant, for the simple reason that it's a visual portfolio. There are alt tags on most buttons, but really it becomes an exercise in exhaustive futility so I gave up.

And yes, this is a bare bones, old skool with a 'k' HTML site for of a number of reasons:

1. I don't actually *like* rich, flash, animated websites: nor do I think plugins are a good idea to depend on. Low maintenance.

2. Without a programmer to assist me, anything beyond simple HTML arrays just becomes a time consuming problem. I know where I am with HTML, and the main thing I know is: I'm not a programmer.

3. Construction of a properly ambitious, database driven, actionscript assisted site is just more time than I can afford, or would want to afford. Sorry folks ;-)

So - with all these caveats listed: click away...
